Nashville Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry: Adam Cottrill, DMD

Everyone was pleasant in the office. Dr Cottrill injected anesthesia on my gums for procedure for my molar. I felt a tiny pinch but not much pain at all. He was fast & gentle at the same time. I was numb when I left his office but it wore out in no time. No discomfort the whole night. Ate as usual. Dr Cottrill is very efficient in what he does. I would recommend him to my family and friends

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cottrill and his office staff. My husband I drive one and a half hours to see him instead of seeing a closer dentist. The staff is friendly and efficient. Hygienists are very professional. Dr. Cottrill himself is truly devoted to patient care. On two different occasions, I have asked him about having costly procedures done. In both cases, he advised against them, as not advantageous for me. Most dentists would have jumped on the opportunity to do these lucrative procedures. He's the best!

Everyone are so pleasant, helpful and kind. I've actually had a friend ask about my implant because she has had much larger charges for her own implant.

My initial visit to the office was the best, most friendly experience. Dr. Cottrill was professional, thorough in his examination, and a very friendly and positive demeanor. The cleaning was the best I have ever had. My teeth feel great! I am so glad that I made the decision to make Dr. Cottrill my dentist. Dr. Cottrill and his staff are very professional and friendly. They answered all my questions and I was in and out of the office in about an hour and 15 minutes. It did cost more than I thought it would, but I know dental work is very expensive. I hope my bridge stays in place longer this time, but I will certainly go back to his office if I need further treatment.

Very professional and informative and let me know what was going on in my mouth as she was performing her duty cleaning my teeth definitely would recommend her to anyone that needed a thorough cleaning. And by the way, since my insurance pays for for cleanings a year, I have only been rescheduled for one for every six months, and I would like to be cleaned every three months since my insurance has to pay for it. Dr. Cottrill has always done an amazing job at making me feel comfortable while addressing and treating any dental issues I have had. As someone with a lot of dental trauma, I appreciate his compassion and I’m thankful for the work he has done for me.

Always a delight

Beware of this dentist. He seems to structure your "dental plan" so as to find ways to charge extra money. I told them from the beginning that I wanted all my teeth pulled and replaced with implants on top and bottom. He will try to talk you into different things that keep you coming back such as leaving teeth and crowning them instead of just pulling and replacing them with implants. Also, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE! I paid $3000.00 for temporary teeth for my implants and was told that would cover the cost, but after I paid them they refused to put them in unless I paid more! They claimed it was a mistake and wanted to apologize, but refused to put my temporary teeth in unless I paid more money. They kept saying they would call me back but never did after I confronted them with their promise to put my temporary teeth in for the $3000.00 Now I am having to look for a dentist to finish my work after paying $15,000.00 to this one. I no longer would trust letting him work on my mouth. It doesn't let you leave a negative 5 star rating, so I left one.

Yesterday was nice, in promptly, not waiting an hour in wait room! Back in my car to leave an hour later, thank you. Also my concerns were addressed and plans developed for me.

As someone who is terrified of dentists I can’t tell you how thankful I was to find Dr. Cottrill! I had been to 3 other dentists prior and none of them were willing to listen to my needs/concerns. I heartily recommend Dr. Cottell. The installation of the implant post was far, far smoother than I anticipatated. When he pulled up the x-ray/ctscan at the end of that part I was pleasantly surprised that it not only occurred so quickly, I was also surprised that his efforts to prevent discomfort of pain were so effective. I started out with a bad experience I let a dentist clean my teeth, I told them I’m going to get some crowns and they said I can do that they convince me into letting them experiment on making me the crowns I wanted, something they didn’t specialize in, crowns were ugly, could not make the crown teeth like I told them I wanted and I was upset and got my money back. I had a talk with Jesus about it, got on the website searching for a Dentist that Specializes in making Cosmetic Crowns, with a in-house lab to make teeth that was what I needed. I knew of one but wasn’t sure. I searched and found Nashville Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry (“Dr. Cottrill”). I was sure I found ‘the one’ that could design the crowns just the way I wanted cause he had a in-house lab to make teeth. Dr. Cottrill patiently listened to my requests, then he explain and showed me in details and we were on the same page. Only a few Dentists in Nashville that really specialize in making cosmetic dental crowns like I wanted and Dr. Cottrill is one of them and in my book the best. All my crowns are individual teeth, I wanted to change my bite a little bit and size of my teeth I wanted to see my bottom teeth and have that Hollywood smile like the stars of Hollywood. I wanted a whole new mouth of crown teeth. I didn’t need all that but I got one knew gold and wanted all my teeth to look alike. Some dentist said what I wanted couldn’t be done, ‘it was out of their lead’. But ‘Dr.Cottrill’ and his ‘Dental Tech Mrs Linda’ and I made it happen and it worked out perfectly, they are awesome, I didn’t experience any pain. I have a whole full mouth of new beautiful bigger teeth that feel and look natural. The whole crew is professional, patient, friendly, kept me comfortable and aiming to please always. If you want Hollywood teeth like mine we have one of the best Cosmetic Dental Crown Specialist right here in Nashville. I’m please, happy and love my new teeth.

Dr. Cottrill is just a miracle worker!! I had been to 3 other professionals, one also a prosthodontist, who could not solve my problem. The first visit with Dr. Cottrill put me on the way to eating more than pureed food for the first time in 2 years. I cannot recommend him --and his staff --- more highly.

Dr. Cottrill always takes the time to converse with me, letting me know of the latest technological advances in his field. That is something I never experience before with any other provider. At my last visit, the good doctor spent a solid hour with me repairing what another dentist did to my teeth and did not bill me for his time. That in itself is amazing. I also know that his fees are fair and that his office will work with you to arrange for payment. And even though I live many miles from his office, I feel a visit to Dr. Cottrill’s office is worth my time and effort. I wouldn’t trust any other practitioner for my (sometimes difficult) dental needs.

I had excessive pain with my lower denture. Never felt correct since the day I got it. Pain got so out of hand I could not enjoy a meal - only soft food. Dr. Cottrill was recommended to me by my dentist, Dr. Mark Lawyer. I called and got an appointment right away for a free consultation. Dr.Cottril apparently saw the problem right away and began to resolve the problem at the same time. I was a different person already. I knew he was going to be able to help me. Next time I saw him he did some more adjustments and kept the denture to smooth out some problems and I saw him again a few days later and was amazed with the results. I am now eating solid food and enjoying all my meals more and being able to eat the foods that I always enjoyed before. I highly recommend Dr. Cottrill with anyone who is having problems with their dentures not being set properly. Jim McFarland

I have been a patient of this practice for 20+ years. I admit I was hesitant to transition to Dr Cottrill.....I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier. His approach takes into account the form, function and financial impact of the different solutions available. He discussed with me three different options for replacing 2 teeth that were damaged in an accident. He explained the pros and cons of each option. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured in anyway on my decision. In today’s world we seem to have lost sight of learning from the Master Craftsmen that preceded us. Too often the next generation dismisses “the old ways” as obsolete. Real wisdom comes when a craftsman respects the old ways and applies the new technology available. Dr Lubovich was one of these Master Craftsmen, Dr Lubovich crafted an upper bridge for me 25 years ago.... that today still amazes people when I tell them it is a bridge ( and several have been Dental Workers). I watched personally as Dr Lubovich mentored Dr Cotrill on the Art of dentistry, and I saw the respect that Dr Cotrill had for his mentor. Seeing this eliminated my concern for transitioning to Dr Cotrill Dr Cotrill possesses that rare combination of skill, integrity and honesty that is often lacking in today’s society.

Everyone in the office is very accommodating and friendly! They worked reassuringly to make my experience pain free and enjoyable. Dr. Cottrill is extremely competent and positive minded. Better than I have had in a very long time

I have been a patient of Dr. Lubovich since the '70's and he has provided original bridges, later implants, bone grafts and sinus lifts. I have a full mouth of beautifully created teeth that compliment a smile I am proud to share. About a year or so ago I was introduced to the care of Dr. Cottrill and find him to be a professional with care and concern for my dental needs that I was conditioned to receive. I have since had the privilege of receiving amazing results from his services. He is extremely conscious of my fears and concerns and along and his staff have provided the finest of care and follow-up. Recently, I lost the five teeth bridge through a mishap at a luncheon and thankfully my temporary was on hand in their lab. They not only immediately took care of my physical needs they also provided a financial opportunity that afforded me a way to pay for a new bridge replacing the original. I am happy to share this story since having a professional and personal relationship with people you know, like and trust in areas of life that are vulnerable to you is a real blessing. Thanks to Dr. Cottrill, and his amazing staff, and assistants I look forward to smiling with confidence for a long time.
